About the Opportunity: Our client is seeking an experienced and business-oriented Associate General Counsel to support their growing commercial real estate portfolio. This is a key role providing strategic legal guidance across acquisitions, development, leasing, and corporate operations.
What You’ll Do:
Draft, review, and negotiate real estate contracts, leases, purchase and sale agreements, and financing documents
Provide counsel on zoning, land use, title, and environmental matters related to property acquisitions and developments
Advise business leaders on legal issues impacting daily operations, transactions, and long-term growth strategies
Manage and coordinate outside counsel for litigation, due diligence, and specialized transactions
Develop and implement internal policies, templates, and compliance processes to streamline operations
Stay current on real estate and regulatory developments affecting the organization
What We’re Looking For:
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
Active membership in the Georgia Bar
5+ years of experience in commercial real estate law
Proven experience drafting and negotiating complex real estate and commercial contracts
Strong business judgment, communication, and relationship management skills
Ability to balance risk with business objectives in a fast-paced, deal-driven environment
