About the Opportunity: Our client is seeking a Supply Chain & Procurement Manager to lead procurement, sourcing, and production planning activities within a manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for ensuring material availability, inventory optimization, and on-time fulfillment while driving strategic sourcing initiatives, supplier performance, and cost efficiency.
This is a hands-on leadership role for an experienced supply chain professional who can balance daily execution with longer-term sourcing strategy, supplier management, and continuous improvement.
What You’ll Do:
Plan and manage production schedules and material procurement to support customer demand, inventory targets, and manufacturing capacity
Lead sourcing and purchasing of raw materials, components, packaging, and indirect spend in accordance with internal standards and procedures
Manage supplier relationships, including qualification, performance monitoring, issue resolution, and contract negotiation
Oversee ERP and MRP-driven planning activities, ensuring accurate item master data, BOMs, and inventory controls
Drive cost savings, risk mitigation, and supply continuity through strategic sourcing and procurement process improvements
Partner cross-functionally with Manufacturing, Quality, Finance, Sales, and Operations to align supply chain strategy with business objectives
What We’re Looking For:
8+ years of experience in supply chain and procurement or purchasing management roles
3-5 years of people management experience leading procurement or supply chain teams
Experience supporting manufacturing operations in a complex, operational environment
Strong knowledge of strategic sourcing, supplier management, and contract negotiation
Hands-on experience with ERP/MRP systems and inventory planning processes
Analytical, detail-oriented leader with strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
