  • Manage design professionals and consultants, acting as a liaison between the design team, Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ), general contractor, and internal leadership
  • Coordinate project permitting, approvals, inspections, and closeout activities
  • Review and manage design changes, including evaluating scope and cost impacts of change orders
  • Monitor project schedules and budgets, ensuring delivery aligns with actual progress and financial targets
  • Conduct regular site visits to ensure quality standards, safety, and progress milestones are met
  • Prepare and distribute weekly project status reports to the management team
  • Identify and mitigate project-specific risks throughout the construction lifecycle
  • Research and evaluate construction methods, materials, and value-engineering opportunities
  • Monitor local construction market trends, including labor availability and material pricing
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with contractors, consultants, vendors, and public agencies
  • Represent the organization professionally in interactions with community and municipal stakeholders
  • Travel to project sites as required, including occasional overnight stays

What We’re Looking For:

  • 2–4 years of experience in construction management or a construction-related field
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Construction Science, Engineering, or a related discipline
  • Strong working knowledge of construction processes, scheduling, and cost controls
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); experience with MS Project a plus
  • Familiarity with project management software such as Procore or Projectmates preferred
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented with strong documentation skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently on-site
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Self-motivated with excellent time management and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to perform effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners
  • Willingness to relocate near assigned project sites and work from on-site or local offices
