About the Opportunity

Our client is seeking an experienced Market Director to lead sales strategy and market performance across a defined region within the home services and residential products sector. This leadership role is responsible for driving revenue growth, developing high-performing sales teams, and strengthening relationships with builders, designers, and professional partners.

The position offers the opportunity to shape market strategy, scale sales infrastructure, and expand market share in a premium residential category including cabinetry, home organization, and related home goods solutions. What You’ll Do
 

  • Own market-level revenue performance by developing and executing strategic sales plans aligned with growth targets
  • Lead, coach, and develop the regional sales team while establishing clear performance expectations and accountability
  • Build and strengthen relationships with builders, designers, and professional partners to expand market opportunities
  • Identify and develop new business channels within residential construction, remodeling, and home services sectors
  • Monitor sales performance metrics, forecasts, and KPIs to guide strategic decisions and optimize market results
  • Oversee daily sales operations including lead management, pipeline visibility, and follow-up execution
  • Partner cross-functionally with marketing, customer experience, and product teams to align market strategy and customer outcomes
  • Implement ongoing sales training and professional development initiatives to improve product expertise and sales performance

What We’re Looking For
 

  • Proven experience in a Sales Manager, Market Director, or senior sales leadership role
  • Strong background in B2C or residential sales within home improvement, cabinetry, home goods, or related industries
  • Demonstrated success leading sales teams and driving consistent revenue growth
  • Experience building professional relationships with builders, designers, and residential trade partners
  • Data-driven leadership style with experience managing forecasts, KPIs, and CRM-based sales tracking
  • Strong communication, leadership, and presentation skills with the ability to influence across teams
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field preferred (or equivalent leadership experience)
  • Willingness to travel around 40% within the market for partner meetings, events, and regional collaboration
