Title: Business Development Manager – Commercial Construction

About the Opportunity: Our client, a respected commercial construction company with a strong regional presence, is seeking a Business Development Manager to drive growth and expand client relationships. This leadership role focuses on identifying new opportunities, nurturing long-term partnerships, and representing the company at industry events. You’ll play a key role in positioning the firm for continued success while collaborating closely with internal teams to deliver high-quality projects.
What You’ll Do:
Conduct market analysis and develop strategic growth plans across procurement models
Identify and secure new business opportunities within commercial construction
Build and maintain strong relationships with developers, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and key decision-makers
Lead proposal development in partnership with estimating, preconstruction, and project management teams
Maintain CRM with opportunities, leads, and client interactions
Attend trade shows, networking events, and industry functions to enhance company visibility
Track performance metrics, pipeline activity, and revenue forecasts
Represent the company’s brand with integrity, professionalism, and commitment to client satisfaction
What We’re Looking For:
Proven track record in business development within commercial construction
Strong industry knowledge and established relationships in the construction market
Excellent communication, networking, and relationship-building skills
Ability to lead proposals and collaborate with internal teams to deliver client-focused solutions
Comfortable representing the company externally and acting as a strategic ambassador
