About the Opportunity: Our client is seeking a skilled CT Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging procedures while ensuring exceptional patient care and safety. This role offers a chance to work in a clinical setting with diverse patient populations, from pediatrics to geriatrics, while collaborating closely with physicians and radiologists. The position is full-time, with hours Friday through Sunday, 7:00 am – 7:00 pm (36 hours/week), providing a stable schedule and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on patient outcomes.
What You’ll Do:
Greet patients, explain procedures, and answer questions to reduce anxiety
Safely position and transfer patients onto the CT table
Apply knowledge of age-specific care needs for patients of all ages
Operate CT equipment to perform diagnostic scans according to physician orders
Administer and monitor contrast media using proper injection techniques
Ensure scans are correctly labeled and sent to PACS for physician review
Assist radiologists during complex procedures as needed
Follow all radiation safety standards and hospital protocols
Verify patient identification and maintain confidentiality of information
Inspect and maintain CT equipment and report malfunctions
Keep procedure rooms stocked, clean, and ready for use
Ensure accurate and timely entry of patient charges and documentation
Participate in holiday and on-call rotation schedules and support other imaging departments as required
Demonstrate flexibility by accepting additional assignments during high-demand periods
What We’re Looking For:
Completion of an accredited radiologic technology program (or equivalent military training)
Current South Carolina license (SC Radiation Quality Standards Association)
Current RT (R) registration
BLS certification (or obtained within 90 days of hire)
Minimum 1 year of clinical CT experience
Detail-oriented, compassionate, and able to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
