A respected anesthesia group in the Florida Panhandle is seeking a full-time Cardiac Anesthesiologist to join a well-established team at a modern, mid-sized hospital. This is a cardiac-focused opportunity with a predictable schedule, strong CRNA support, and exceptional work-life balance.
Position Highlights
– $600,000 annual compensation (1099) – $50K sign-on for 2 years OR $75K for 3 years – 35 working weeks / 17 weeks off – 1:3 beeper call (30-minute response) – Cardiac-only practice—no OB, peds, trauma, or general – Supervising 1–2 cardiac rooms with experienced CRNAs
Schedule Structure
– 17 weeks: Mon–Fri with beeper call – No nights or weekend shifts during non-call weeks
Single-hospital coverage
– Case Mix – Cardiac, thoracic, vascular, EP – Anesthesiologists perform TEEs for open-heart cases
Ideal Candidate
– BE/BC Anesthesiologist – Comfortable supervising cardiac CRNAs – Proficient in cardiac anesthesia & TEE
