About the Opportunity: Our client is seeking a senior leader to oversee the strategic roadmap for their originations function, with a strong focus on credit quality, funding performance, and risk mitigation. What You’ll Do:
Lead the strategic roadmap for the organization’s originations function, prioritizing credit quality, funding performance, and risk mitigation
Represent originations in executive-level discussions, delivering data-driven recommendations to support business objectives
Partner with leadership to scale and elevate the originations function
Design, implement, and refine scalable processes, policies, and procedures
Analyze data to identify performance gaps, inefficiencies, and risk exposures, and recommend improvements
Collaborate closely with Credit Risk, Compliance, Operations, and Technology to ensure strategy alignment and regulatory compliance
Lead pilot programs and initiatives to improve underwriting outcomes and customer experience
Champion automation and technology adoption to drive operational efficiency and accuracy
Ensure the originations platform evolves with industry best practices and company growth needs
What We’re Looking For:
10+ years of experience in lending strategy and underwriting
Background in banking or financial services (required)
Proven track record managing large teams
Expertise in process design, strategy creation, and efficiency improvements
Strong communication skills and executive presence
